Festive 2-D Christmas Animations
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m putting together a pair of short, whimsical videos that will play on our venue’s TV monitors during a Christmas “BELIEVE” experience, and I need a skilled 2-D animator to bring them to life in classic red-green-gold holiday colours.
Video #1 (vertical 1080 × 1920)
A friendly, cartoon-style Santa sits in an oversized armchair against a cozy Christmas backdrop. Santa says, “Welcome to BELIEVE! I’m so excited that you found the magic wand I left for you. I need your help, my fireplace seems to be out. Can you help my elves light the fireplace by touching the magic gift right over there with your wand?”
Santa should look and point to the left so guests know where to aim their wand.
Video #2 (horizontal 1920 × 1080) (In our shipwreck gallery)
We open on a glass bottle bobbing in a gentle ocean. The setting should be Caribbean Christmas, so Palm trees in the background, maybe even a shipwreck but you can have Christmas lights on the palm trees. The bottle drifts ashore; a scroll slips out, unfurls, and reveals the message:
“You are part of something magical. BELIEVE in the Magic of Christmas.”
The overall feel should stay playful, light and a touch magical, never dark or moody.
Deliverables
• Two finished 2-D animated videos, one in each resolution listed above, ready to drop straight onto our monitors (common formats such as MP4 preferred).
• All visual elements in traditional Christmas colors, with smooth, engaging motion that matches the whimsical tone.
