Fast 2D Character Animator Needed
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I’m putting together a short-form series aimed at an adult audience and I need a sharp 2D character animator who can jump in right away. The look is hand-drawn, lively, and story-driven, so you’ll be breathing life into expressive characters rather than pushing around simple cut-outs.
Here’s how I work: we meet briefly at the start of each scene to review the animatic and timing notes, then you take the rough keys through to clean line and color. I review dailies, give concise feedback, and move quickly to approval so you’re never waiting on me. My rate is fixed at $10 per hour—budget is tight, but the project itself is genuinely fun and you’ll get full screen credit.
Preferred tools are Toon Boom Harmony or Adobe Animate; if you use another package, just be ready to hand off clean PNG/PSD layers or a high-res lossless MOV alongside your project file.
Acceptance criteria
• Smooth, on-model character animation at 24 fps
• Clean line, flat-color pass ready for my compositor
• Source files and a rendered preview for every approved scene
