2D Fairytale Animation Production
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I already have a complete script and scene breakdown for a light-hearted, classic fairytale. What I now need is a skilled 2D animator (or small team) who can take that written story and transform it into an engaging, fully animated movie.
You’ll be working with traditional fairytale archetypes—princesses, talking animals, enchanted forests—so think timeless storybook shapes and colours rather than modern or exaggerated styles. The overall mood should stay fun, upbeat and colourful, aimed at families and younger audiences.
My goal is to move efficiently from page to screen, so an organised production pipeline is important: clear milestones, predictable file hand-offs and smart use of software such as Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate or similar 2D tools. If you prefer another program, let me know; I’m open, as long as the final deliverable is a high-resolution film file suitable for streaming platforms and festival submission.
Key deliverables
• Visual development package: approved character sheets & background style frames
• Completed storyboard and timed animatic
• Rough animation, clean-ups and colour, synced to temporary audio
• Final 2D master with basic sound effects and music track (I'll supply licensed audio)
• All working project files for future edits
Acceptance criteria
• Consistent classic-fairytale design across every scene
• Smooth, on-model animation at 24 fps (or your suggested frame rate if justified)
• Final runtime matches the agreed script length without omissions
• Delivered in 4K and 1080p, H.264 or ProRes, with clean transparency for any overlays
