2D Explainer Illustrations Only Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m producing a short 2D explainer video. What I still need are the illustration assets only—no animation at this stage.
Your task is to create a cohesive set of artwork that brings the narrative to life: characters, backgrounds, icons and any simple on-screen text elements that support key points. The look should be clean, friendly and easy to read at a glance, since the video is aimed at the general public. Think along the lines of modern flat-style 2D animation, with clear outlines and a limited, harmonious colour palette.
Deliverables (layered and ready to animate):
• Storyboard frames that map directly to the supplied script (about 15–20 key scenes)
• Final vector or high-res raster files for each scene, organised and labelled in separate layers (AI, PSD or SVG)
• A style guide covering colours, fonts and character turnarounds so additional scenes can be created consistently
Acceptance criteria:
• Artwork aligns with the script and follows the agreed storyboard
• All files are fully editable, grouped and named logically
• Visuals are delivered in 1920×1080 resolution and remain sharp when scaled to 4K
If you have a portfolio of similar 2D explainer work, I’d love to see it. Looking forward to collaborating and getting these illustrations ready for animation.
