Dramatic 2D Short Animation

I have a completed screenplay for a dramatic short film aimed at an adult audience and I now need the story brought to life through digital 2-D animation. The piece runs roughly seven minutes and the visual language leans toward moody lighting, realistic motion and expressive character acting rather than cartoony exaggeration.

All layout, timing and audio (dialogue, score and effects) are ready; what is missing is the actual animation. You would receive the locked animatic, layered PSD backgrounds and full VO track, then deliver clean, colored animation that drops straight onto the timeline. Whether you prefer Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate or Krita is up to you as long as you can export a 4K 24-fps ProRes file plus separate PNG sequence for final grading.

The core tasks include:
• Rough passes to nail performance and pacing
• Clean-up, in-betweening and color
• Simple compositing for shadows, glows and camera moves
• Final render and a short shot-list indicating any special treatment applied

I will review each scene as it completes so we can lock the look early and avoid revisions later. Once the final render matches the animatic’s timing and the color pass is consistent across shots, the project is considered complete and full payment is released.
