Consistent Cartoon Story Illustrations
Budget: $10 – $200 USD
I have a complete set of illustrations created in ChatGPT for a children’s story aimed at 3- to 5-year-olds, but the main characters drift in appearance from page to page. I need someone who can take the existing images and refine them so that each character feels unmistakably the same throughout the book.
The artwork should stay light, colourful and firmly in a cartoon style, with the characters radiating happiness in every scene. I will supply high-resolution files for each page along with simple notes on the key traits that must remain—outfit colours, hair shapes, favourite toys, and so on. Your task is to retouch, redraw or subtly adjust each illustration so those elements stay consistent while preserving the original charm. This book is a gift for the grandpa and will not be published.
Deliverables
• A revised, print-ready image for every page (there are 18 in total)
• Layered source files (PSD or Procreate) so I can tweak text placement later
• A brief summary of the visual rules you followed—handy for future books in the series
