Children’s Picture Book Animations

I use a handful of illustrated picture books during my online tutoring classes and I want each page to feel more alive than a static slide. All illustrations already exist—I can supply clean PDFs or high-resolution scans—so what I need is a light touch of 2D animation that keeps the original artwork intact while adding movement that holds young learners’ attention.

Here’s what I have in mind
• Subtle pans, zooms or parallax effects that guide the eye across the page
• Occasional simple motions such as a blink, wave or sparkle on key characters or objects
• A separate file per spread (MP4, MOV or transparent-background PNG sequence—whatever you work with fastest)

No new character design is required; you will be working directly with the pages I provide. The goal is to deliver engaging clips I can drop straight into PowerPoint, Zoom, or any virtual classroom platform without extra rendering on my end. If you handle the scanning cleanup too, even better—just let me know.

Please include a sample of similar light-touch 2D animation you’ve done for children’s media so I can gauge style fit. I’m looking to start with one book (about 20 spreads) and will commission the rest once we nail the look and workflow.
