Job Title: 2D Character Designer for Children’s Brand (Animation-Ready)
Description:
We’re looking for a talented 2D artist to design a vibrant, lovable children’s character for our brand — a fun, friendly little girl who will appear in songs, videos, books, and merchandise.
The ideal character should be full of personality — joyful, curious, and engaging — with a design that resonates with young children. She should also feel unique and timeless, appealing to both kids and parents alike.
Requirements:
Create a layered 2D character ready for animation (separate body parts, facial expressions, etc.)
Deliver the final artwork in high-quality, animation-compatible format (PSD, AI, or layered PNG)
Include full commercial rights for publishing and merchandising
Experience designing expressive characters for children’s media
Strong sense of proportion, warmth, and emotional storytelling through design
Familiarity with African American character detailing, especially textured hair and authentic features, is a plus
