Children’s Cartoon Book Illustrator
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m preparing a new website setting books for children aged 4-7 and I want 4 animal persona drawings burst with playful, cartoonish energy.
You’ll handle everything from initial rough sketches through to final print-ready artwork. Expect plenty of bright colours, expressive faces, and simple yet engaging backgrounds that won’t distract early readers from the action. I’ll supply character notes, page-by-page scene summaries, and reference images as soon as we start so you can dive straight into visual development.
Deliverables
• Character and setting concept sketches for approval
• Final high-resolution illustrations for each page plus front and back cover
• Editable source files (PSD or AI) along with flattened PNGs ready for print and e-book formats
Once the line art and colour palettes are approved, we’ll work in clear milestones: concepts, finals, and small tweaks before sign-off. If you’ve illustrated picture books before—or simply love creating fun, kid-friendly cartoons—I’d be thrilled to see your portfolio.
