Cartoon Illustrations for Tween Book
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m finishing up a children’s story aimed at readers aged 10–12 and now need a talented illustrator to bring the pages to life in a fun, cartoonish style. I already have written descriptions of each main character—their looks, personalities, and signature outfits—so you’ll be working from clear references while still adding your own creative flair.
The project covers the full visual package for the book, from individual scene illustrations to a vibrant cover that will pop both in print and in digital storefronts. Bright colors, expressive faces, and energetic poses are exactly what I’m after, but I’m also eager to see how you interpret the world and settings described in the manuscript.
Deliverables
• High-resolution, full-color illustrations (300 dpi) for every assigned page or spread
• A print-ready cover (front, spine, back) plus a web-sized version for online listings
• Layered source files (PSD or Procreate) so minor text or layout tweaks can be made later
• RGB and CMYK exports in PNG or TIFF for final production
I’ll provide the chapter breakdown, character sheets, and layout guidelines as soon as we agree on the scope. If you’ve previously illustrated middle-grade or tween projects, especially in a lively cartoon style, I’d love to see them in your portfolio.
