Cartoon Illustrations for Children’s Book
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I’m putting the finishing touches on a children’s story that will run between ten and twenty pages and now need it brought to life with warm, expressive, cartoon-style artwork. The main characters already exist in my head and in a few rough notes, but their look and personality still have room to breathe, so I’m counting on your creativity to shape them while keeping them consistent from page to page.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Full-colour, high-resolution illustrations for each spread, plus a separate front cover.
• Character development sketches up front so we can lock in their final look before you dive into the pages.
• Final files delivered as layered PSD or AI as well as flattened PNG/JPEG, ready for both print and ebook layouts. This will be published on Amazon
• All work created exclusively for this project, with full usage rights transferred on completion.
I’ll supply the manuscript, pacing notes and any reference material the moment we start. If you love telling stories through bright, engaging, cartoon imagery and can manage a friendly back-and-forth for feedback along the way, I’d love to see a sample of your previous children’s book work and hear how you’d tackle this adventure.
