I need a vibrant, cartoonish illustration that captures a Fantasy and Adventure atmosphere for a new jigsaw puzzle line aimed at a broad 15-40 audience—so it should appeal to both teenagers and adults without skewing too childish. Think soaring dragons, enchanted forests, whimsical castles, and heroic characters rendered in a clean, lively style that pops once it’s broken into 500- to 1,000-piece puzzles.
To work well as a puzzle image, the composition has to balance rich detail with clear colour blocks and recognisable shapes, avoiding huge areas of flat colour that can frustrate solvers. Bold outlines, dynamic perspective, and a cohesive colour palette will help each piece feel rewarding to place.
Please provide an initial rough sketch or mood board so I can confirm the scene layout and major elements. Once approved, move to full colour. Final artwork should arrive print-ready (CMYK, 300 dpi) and also as a layered PSD or AI file so my print team can adjust bleed and cropping if needed.
Deliverables:
• One fully coloured, high-resolution illustration (minimum 550 mm on the longest side, 300 dpi, CMYK)
• Layered source file (PSD or AI) with organised groups
• A flattened TIFF or PDF version ready for the puzzle printer
• Written colour palette reference for consistent reprints
