I’m wrapping up a 20-page children’s picture book—ten pages of story text that will sit opposite ten full-page illustrations—and I need those illustrations brought to life. The look I’m after is bright, fun, and unmistakably cartoon-like, set in a light-hearted fantasy world. Think imaginative scenes where animals and children share the spotlight: perhaps a young girl riding a talking fox through candy-colored clouds, or a picnic with giggling rabbits under a floating castle. I’ll supply reference photos and the finished manuscript so you have clear guidance on each scene’s mood, key poses, and color hints.
Here’s how I see the workflow:
• You share rough concept sketches for all ten scenes so we can lock composition and character design.
• Once approved, you move on to full-color artwork, delivering print-ready CMYK files at 300 dpi along with layered PSD or AI source files for future tweaks or ebook adaptation.
• Each illustration should fill a full page (standard trim size will be confirmed together) and maintain consistency in palette, line weight, and overall style.
Please factor in one round of revision on the sketches and another on the colored finals so we can polish details without stalling momentum.
