Cartoon Fantasy Book Cover Illustration

I’m preparing to launch my fantasy novel and I need a lively, cartoon-style cover that immediately pulls readers into the story. The scene must put the main characters front and center—think expressive poses, bold colours and enough personality that a reader can sense their relationship before even turning the first page.

Your illustration will wrap a standard 6 × 9 in. paperback, so I’ll need the full layout (front, spine and bleed) at 300 dpi, delivered as both a flattened print-ready PDF and a layered PSD or AI file for any last-minute tweaks. Include room for the title and my name, but keep those on separate text layers so I can adjust fonts later.

To make sure the cover sings:
• Cartoonish rendering that still feels epic and adventurous
• Clear fantasy cues—think subtle hints of magic in the lighting or costuming
• Colour palette that stays vivid when converted to CMYK
