Cartoon Children's Book Illustrations
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm seeking a talented illustrator for a 13-page children's book on gardening. The book is landscape-orientation and requires:
- One cover image
- Twelve story images
Illustration Style:
- Cartoon
Focus on:
- Detailed backgrounds
Ideal skills and experience:
- Experience in children's book illustration
- Strong cartoon illustration skills
- Ability to create engaging, detailed backgrounds
I will provide the text for each page of the story and will provide a photograph of the child on which the story is based. I would like the images of the child to resemble the child in the photo, but in illustrated form. The images must maintain character consistency across the pages (needs to look like the same child). The story is fairly simple and references a young boy who grows a neighborhood garden and shares it with his neighborhoods. It is cheerful and colorful. I need high res images in landscape form that I can resize as needed to commit the final print. I will handle all layout of the final book, I just need the images.
