Cartoon Character Overlays Videos
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have 8 short videos that already contain their final voice-overs; what they still need is a single, branded character that appears on screen and reacts in sync with the narration. The visual tone I’m after is unmistakably cartoonish, yet the creature itself should feel other-worldly—think a wise, slightly mysterious fantasy guide rather than a slapstick mascot.
You’ll start by shaping the character design from my existing brand palette, logo shapes, and tag-line concepts so the audience instantly recognises it as part of our identity. Once the look is locked, I’ll hand over the video files and time-coded scripts. Your job is to animate the creature into each clip, matching movements and subtle expressions to the spoken words and pauses. Subtle particle or glow effects are welcome if they reinforce the aura of wisdom without stealing attention from the content.
Deliverables
• Final character model sheet, colour turnarounds, and a short motion test for approval
• Ten finished videos (1080p, same duration as originals) with the character fully composited and synced to audio
• Source project files so my internal team can make small tweaks later
I edit in Adobe Premiere and After Effects, CapCut, so compatibility with those tools would be ideal. When you apply, please link to previous work where you’ve integrated illustrated characters into live or recorded footage—especially if they carry a calm, enigmatic presence.
