2D Bug Evolution Animation

Job ID: 40373638

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m looking for an animator who can take my insect character from its earliest, sketch-like form to a fully coloured, polished design in one smooth sequence. The finished piece should be 2D, with a moderate level of detail—clean lines, clear shapes and a bit of texture, but nothing hyper-realistic.

The colour journey is important: the first frames are rough black-and-white, then colour gradually seeps back in until the bug ends up vibrant and alive. Timing, pacing, and small transitional flourishes that underline this “evolution” theme will make the piece shine.

I already have a rough storyboard ready to share as soon as we start; feel free to adjust camera moves or staging if it improves the flow. Tools like Toon Boom, Adobe Animate, or After Effects are all fine so long as the final render is crisp and easily shareable (1080p or higher).

Deliverables:
• Final animation file (H.264 MP4 or MOV, 1080p+)
• Source project files so I can tweak or repurpose assets later

Once I see a quick animatic confirming timing and transitions, we can lock things in and move on to clean-up and colouring.
