Budget-Friendly Teen Cartoon Animation

I’m putting together a hand-drawn 2D cartoon whose sole purpose is to entertain a teen audience. The story and characters are already drafted; what I need is an animator who can breathe life into them with traditional, frame-by-frame artistry—no rigged motion-graphics look.

Because this is a lean-budget production, efficiency matters: limited character counts, smart re-use of backgrounds, and tight scene planning will all help us stay on track without sacrificing charm. If you’re comfortable working in Toon Boom, TVPaint, or even a scanned-paper workflow, great—pick the pipeline that lets you move fastest while still delivering clean lines, appealing poses, and lively timing.

Deliverable
• A polished animated segment (final length to be agreed during kickoff) in 1080p, ready for online distribution, complete with synced dialogue/SFX and a separate music stem.

Once we lock in schedule and shot list, I’ll supply the script, model sheets, and scratch voice track. In return, I’m looking for rough pencil tests, then cleaned-up ink/paint, followed by a composite pass for review before final render. If this pilot clicks with viewers, there will be more episodes, and I’d love to keep the collaboration going.
