8-Bit Dolphin GIF Animation

I’m working on a retro-inspired web page and need a small, 8-bit style animated GIF built around a single object: a pixel-art dolphin. The animation should loop seamlessly so it can sit in a header area without a noticeable start or end.

Visual direction
• Palette: strictly black and white for that stark, classic arcade feel—no greyscale gradients, just solid pixels.
• Style: crisp, chunky pixels that read clearly at typical web icon sizes (think 120-200 px wide, but we can refine once you’ve sketched the first draft).

Motion brief
The dolphin itself is the only element that moves. Whether it jumps, dives, or glides in place is up to you, as long as the action is fluid and repeats smoothly in a short loop (around 10-15 seconds). No background scenery—just the dolphin against a transparent or single-tone backdrop so I can drop it onto any section of the site.

Deliverables

• Source frames or sprite sheet in PNG for future tweaks
