2D Animator for Kids Series
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m building a bright, upbeat animated series for children aged 1-4 and need a skilled 2D animator to join me from the ground up. The show will revolve around short adventure-themed stories that spark curiosity while keeping everything gentle, colorful, and fun.
Here’s the creative direction:
• Character look & feel: I’m envisioning a style that reflects what’s typically achieved in “Moho Pro, Toon Boom Harmony, or Adobe Animate.”
• Story tone: Light adventure—think simple quests and discoveries a toddler can follow and giggle along with.
What I’m counting on you to handle:
• Design, rig, and maintain a consistent lineup of lovable main characters.
• Animate expressive, fluid motion suitable for very young viewers—big gestures, clear emotions, no scary surprises.
• Deliver short episodes (2–3 minutes) plus bite-sized, social-media-ready clips.
• Communicate openly, hit agreed milestones, and keep files well-organized for an efficient pipeline.
Essential skills:
• Proven 2D animation experience in children’s or educational content.
• Mastery of Moho Pro, Toon Boom Harmony, or Adobe Animate.
• Comfortable tailoring pacing, color palettes, and motion to a preschool audience.
• Portfolio links that highlight character-based animation.
Bonus points if you’ve produced for YouTube Kids or similar family-friendly platforms.
Initial deliverables I’d like to budget for:
1. Fully rigged hero character with turnaround and expression sheet.
2. Storyboard and rough animatic for the first adventure episode.
3. One 30-second polished test scene demonstrating final quality.
From there, we’ll roll into a season of short episodes and promotional snippets.
If bringing charming stories to life for little ones excites you, share your reel and a brief note about how you’d tackle the first deliverables. I look forward to collaborating!
