2D Animation of Storage Container Filling
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
I'm seeking a talented 2D animator to create a modern, engaging animation for our website. The animation will visually demonstrate how a storage container fills up at different sizes, from a small ¼ container to a full 38m³ unit.
Project Overview:
We run a mobile storage company. Our storage service offers multiple container sizes, and we'd like to show how much can fit in each stage with a progressive visual animation.
We’ll provide a detailed breakdown of items for each size (e.g., couches, beds, boxes, BBQs), and your task is to visually represent each item entering the container and filling the space in a logical order.
Scope of Work:
- Create an animation showing 6 progressive storage stages (¼ container to full container)
- Each stage includes more household items (list provided)
- Each stage either builds on the previous (adding new items), or restarts and fills a larger container
- Output to be used on a WordPress site (MP4 and ideally Lottie/web-optimized format)
- Optional: Static image thumbnails of each stage for use on site.
Animation Style:
- Clean and simple (not overly cartoony or abstract)
- Light shadows or soft 3D feel is okay, but not mandatory
- Friendly, instructional tone.
Assets Provided:
- Full item list per container stage (includes standard household items)
- Rough size estimations (e.g., 10m³ = ¼ container)
- Example websites for inspiration (e.g., Taxibox)
- Brand guidelines and logo
Deliverables:
- One progressive animation covering all 6 stages
- Exported in MP4 and Lottie/WebM or SVG format (for web use)
- Optional: Source file(s) and static images of each stage
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with explainer-style or product visualization animations
- Comfortable working with static item lists and spatial layout
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Able to deliver within 2–3 weeks
Please share your portfolio and estimated timeline.
