PROJECT GUIDELINES – ACTOR REPLACEMENT WITH PNG CARTOON CHARACTERS
1. OBJECTIVE
Transform short video clips by replacing the real actors with animated PNG cartoon characters, while
keeping the original audio and preserving most gestures. Mouth movement synchronization is the
highest priority.
2. INPUT MATERIAL
Each task includes:- An MP4 video provided by the client.- PNG images of the cartoon characters.
3. OUTPUT REQUIREMENTS
Format:- MP4- Same resolution and technical specifications as the original video:
* Length: identical to the source
* Frame width: 720 px
* Frame height: 1280 px
* Frame rate: 30 fps
* Video data rate: approximately 1612 kbps
* Total bitrate: approximately 1684 kbps
* Audio: keep original audio (72 kbps, stereo, 44.1 kHz)
Characters:- Replace each human actor with the assigned PNG cartoon character.- Characters must follow:
* Facial expressions
* Body movements and gestures
* Head movement
* Mouth movement synced to the original audio
Animation Style:- Use 2D animation or cut-out animation consistent with the cartoon design.- Animate:
* Mouth (lip sync is the priority)
* Head rotation
* Eye blinking
* Simple body or arm movements as needed
Audio:- Keep the original audio exactly as it is.- Do not modify duration or timing.
4. PRODUCTION WORKFLOW
Step 1 — Import Video- Import the original MP4 and lock the audio track.
Step 2 — Character Setup- Import PNG characters.- Prepare layers for mouth shapes, eyes, head turns, and simple motion rigs.
Step 3 — Match Motion- Track or manually keyframe to follow actor gestures and timing.
Step 4 — Lip Sync- Synchronize mouth movements closely to the speech and timing in the audio.
Step 5 — Export- Export final MP4 keeping the same technical specifications as the input file.
5. DELIVERY
For each completed task:- Deliver one MP4 file with identical duration and resolution.- Ensure clean, seamless replacement of the actors with cartoon characters
