2D Animation Concept Explainer

I am looking for a skilled 2D animator/motion designer to create three separate animated explainer video segments for a science-focused YouTube channel.

The channel targets adults and general audiences interested in science, engineering, physics, and hidden phenomena. The visual style should feel intelligent, cinematic, and engaging—not childish or educational content made for kids.

Each animation will explain a different scientific concept and will be integrated into a longer YouTube video.

Scope of Work:

Deliverables

* 3 separate animated videos
* Approximately 20 seconds each
* Total animation duration: ~60 seconds
* 1920x1080 (16:9)
* Suitable for YouTube

### Animation Style

* Clean 2D motion graphics
* Modern science documentary style
* Similar to Veritasium, (without cartoon characters), TED-Ed, Real Engineering, or high-quality science explainers
* Professional visual storytelling
* Smooth transitions and motion
* Minimal text usage unless necessary
* Focus on visual explanation of concepts

### Workflow

#### Phase 1 – Style & Concept Draft

Before creating all animations, I would like one short draft/concept sequence showing:

* Visual style
* Color palette
* Motion style
* Illustration approach
* Overall look and feel

This draft will be reviewed and approved before moving to the final production stage.

#### Phase 2 – Final Animation

After approval of the draft:

* Create all 3 animations
* Incorporate feedback
* Deliver final rendered videos

### What I Will Provide

* Script and narration text
* Explanation of each scientific concept
* Reference videos/images for style inspiration
* Feedback during production

### Final Deliverables

* 3 rendered MP4 videos
* Source files (After Effects, Illustrator, or equivalent project files)
* All assets created specifically for the project
* Commercial usage rights
