Animated Ad Videos for Star Labels

Project Title:
5 Animated Ad Videos (25–30 secs each) for Food Packaging Awareness – Star Labels
Description:
Star Labels, a packaging company based in Congo, is looking for an animator to create five short animated ad videos (25–30 seconds each). These ads will be displayed on a projector during our upcoming exposition and will also be used on social media.
The ads are educational, aimed at home industries and SMEs (bakeries, peanut/chips sellers, flour/cleaning product packagers, coffee/tea sellers, etc.). They will highlight the importance of proper packaging in terms of hygiene, shelf life, brand awareness, attractiveness, and better sales.
We already have scripts in French prepared (dialogue + narration). The animator’s task will be to bring these to life with authentic visuals, a professional mascot, and clear storytelling.

Scope of Work:
• Create 5 animated videos (25–30 seconds each).
• Animate the Star Labels logo into a mascot that speaks, with motion graphics whenever the mascot appears.
• Design characters inspired by Congolese people (reference photos will be provided).
• Integrate narration and dialogues using AI-generated French voice-overs (familiarity required).
• Add French subtitles in all videos.
• Provide background music and sound effects (with 2–3 music track options per video for us to choose from).
• Deliver outputs in:
o HD (1080p or higher) for projector/screen display.
o Social media-optimized formats (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp).
• Final delivery must include both MP4 files and all source/project files.

Style Guidelines:
• Professional and clean 2D animation (not overly cartoonish).
• Characters must feel authentic and relatable for a Congolese audience.
• Must share examples of past professional animations (links required).

Timeline:
2 Weeks. Exposition is on Sept 26th and 27th making Sept 25th for the final deliverables a hard deadline. Inability to complete by Sept 25th will result in premature termination of the project at whatever stage it may be. The decision to hire the freelancer will be made on/before Sept 7, 2025.

Payment Terms:
• 10% at project start.
• 40% after delivery of the first approved draft video.
• 30% after delivery of the first cuts of all 5 videos.
• 20% after final approval and handover of all files.
(Please do not propose larger upfront advances — we will only consider freelancers who can work within this structure. A demonstrated ability for quality work and meeting expectations is a pre-requisite before the 2nd payment of 40% is made)
