Animated Vertical Phonics Songs
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m creating a new batch of 60–90 second, vertical (9:16) phonics clips for preschoolers (ages 3-5). Think the bright, uncluttered charm of Super Simple Songs: flat-colour 2D animation, friendly rounded shapes, and a gentle, slow tempo that lets little learners sing along without falling behind.
Every video needs:
• Big, easy-to-read on-screen text that appears in perfect sync with the lyrics
• A warm, clear singing voice (neutral English accent) recorded at kid-friendly pace
• Simple sound effects and a light instrumental bed that never overpowers the vocals
• Full-screen letters or words popping up whenever they are sung, reinforcing phonics concepts without crowding the frame
You’ll handle everything from the storyboard and character motions to the final mix. I’m happy with either Adobe Animate, After Effects, Toon Boom or any equivalent 2D pipeline, as long as you can supply the layered source files alongside the mastered 1080 × 1920 MP4 and separated WAV stems.
Deliverables I need to sign off on:
1. Rough storyboard with timing sheet
2. Style frame confirming palette, typography, and character look
3. First animated draft with scratch vocals
4. Final polished cut with mastered audio, on-screen text, and subtitles (.srt)
5. Project source files
If this sounds like your jam, let me see a sample of a past kids’ song or any playful 2D piece that shows you can keep things clear, slow, and catchy for the preschool crowd.
