Animated Psychological Horror Book Teaser
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm seeking a skilled 2D animator/motion designer to create a 30 - 45 second psychological horror teaser trailer for my book.
The trailer should rely on symbolic imagery, atmosphere, and implication rather than detailed character animation. The tone should be slow-burning, eerie, and unsettling.
Concept overview:
- A snow-covered parking lot at night, surrounded by dark woods
- A man is struggling to reach his car; his movement is labored, implying frostbite and injury
- He collapses onto the snowy pavement
- A distant, unnatural voice is heard from the woods
- A chain slowly emerges from the darkness and hooks into his foot, and should be stylized, shadow-heavy, not graphic
- As he's dragged across the pavement, he notices a name written in blood on a nearby car: "Henderson."
- He looks confused and terrified just before being pulled into the darkness
- The camera lingers on the woods
- Snow begins to fall, forming a snow-covered blood-stained title reveal: SNOWBOUND
Style and Notes:
