Animated K-Pop Music Video

Job ID: 39865072

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

YOU DONT HAVE TO CREATE FULL VIDEO FOR SUBMISSION (Just ACT 1 to show concept)
WINNER CAN CREATE AFTTER Song length is 3:15

I’m ready to turn a set of still photos into an energetic 2–3 minute 2D animated K-Pop music video. The mood needs to match the typical upbeat, high-gloss style of the genre—bright colours, dynamic camera moves, tight choreography and quick-cut edits that keep pace with the track.

Here’s the material you’ll receive from me on day one:
– The final audio master (WAV & MP3)
– A folder of character reference photos and mood images
– Rough scene notes outlining key moments, dance breaks and lyric cues

ACT 1 (of 5) – The Encounter (Scenes 1–10)

Scene 1: Raindrops fall on neon-lit city streets. Jennai walks fast, holding her coffee, late for somewhere important.
Scene 2: She crosses a crowded intersection; street lights flicker across her face.
Scene 3: A faint guitar riff echoes — she pauses, hearing it beneath the city noise.
Scene 4: She turns to see him, the boy busking under a glowing red sign. Their eyes lock.
Scene 5: Close-up — her heartbeat syncs with the rhythm.
Scene 6: He grins mid-song; she blushes and drops a coin in his case.
Scene 7: She walks away smiling — he starts playing her favourite melody.
Scene 8: Overhead drone shot — they both glance back at the same time.
Scene 9: Rain slows, lights blur — the world around her fades.
Scene 10: The music becomes the pulse of the city as the title “Spinning Like a Record” flashes.

I’d like you to handle everything from initial storyboard to final render, using whichever 2D pipeline you prefer—Toon Boom, Adobe Animate, TVPaint, After Effects or a combination that gives us crisp line art, smooth motion and punchy VFX. Feel free to integrate limited parallax or motion-graphics tricks; just keep the core look authentically 2D.

Acceptance criteria
• Length lands between 2:00 and 3:00 (intro/outro included).
• Visual style stays vibrant and playful, matching the reference collage.
• All supplied photos are recognisably transformed into on-model characters.
• Final delivery: 1920×1080 H.264 video + separate transparent-background export of major scenes for social teasers.

If you’ve animated dance sequences, lyric videos or K-Pop-adjacent projects before, link me to them—rhythm-sensitive timing will be a huge plus. I’m aiming to lock storyboard within a week, so let me know your estimated turnaround for rough animatic, clean animation and compositing. Looking forward to seeing these still images come alive on the beat!
