Project Description

I am looking for an experienced animator to create a 5 minute 20 second custom animated video for an original song.

The video should tell a nostalgic, emotional friendship/love story with a cinematic and modern feel, suitable for Instagram posting. The song is already completed and will be shared after project confirmation.

Style & Visual Direction

Watercolor / sketch / hand-drawn look

Soft colors with cinematic lighting

Emotional storytelling through visuals

Travel moments, friendship memories, quiet emotional scenes

Smooth transitions synced with music

No heavy cartoon or comic style


Animation Requirements

Story-based animation (not a slideshow)

Characters can be silhouettes or minimal facial detail

No lip-sync required

Emotion conveyed through body language, atmosphere, and scenes

Visuals must follow musical beats and emotional changes

Primary Format: Vertical (9:16) for Instagram
