Animated Lyric Video: Impossible Love Story

Job ID: 40564328

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I was thinking of making it feel like a short animated film rather than just a lyric video. The main character is an ordinary girl walking through her everyday life, but everywhere she goes she sees this famous girl she's in love with. There are giant billboards, magazine covers, bus stop ads, TV screens in store windows, phone notifications, and posters—all featuring her. It feels like the whole world revolves around this person, making her seem completely out of reach.

As the main character walks through the city, the lyrics don't just appear randomly—they become part of the environment. They might glow across a billboard, reflect in a puddle, appear on a train window, drift across the night sky, or wrap around buildings like they're her thoughts coming to life. It should feel like the audience is inside her mind.

Throughout the video, she keeps catching small glimpses of the famous girl, but they're never actually together. They're always separated by crowds, distance, glass, or giant screens. It visually reinforces the idea that she's "invisible" to the person she loves.

During the chorus, the world becomes more dreamlike. Reality blends into fantasy, and for a moment it feels like they're finally close—walking side by side or sharing a quiet moment. But when the chorus ends, the dream fades, and she's back alone in the real world.

I want the animation to follow the emotion of the song as closely as possible. The focus isn't just on someone having a crush on a celebrity—it's about feeling invisible, loving someone who seems impossible to reach, and holding onto the hope that maybe one day they'll notice you. I want the visuals to make people feel that loneliness, hope, and quiet admiration from beginning to end.If possible, I'd also love to see any similar animated work you've done before or references of previous projects. I'd really like to get a feel for your style, and if I love what I see, I'd be excited to work together. I'm also completely open to hearing your own ideas or creative vision for the project. custom character the love interest will be two women
