2D Animated History YouTube Videos
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I’m producing a series of long-form YouTube episodes that bring famous historical figures to life through engaging 2D animation. Each video will run roughly 10–15 minutes and should feel cinematic enough to hold viewers from the first frame to the last.
Here’s how I see the workflow: I provide the researched script and voice-over; you handle everything visual—storyboards, character and background design, key animation, compositing, and final 1080p export. If you like working in Toon Boom, Adobe Animate, After Effects, or a comparable 2D pipeline, that’s perfect. I’m open to whichever professional toolset lets you animate fluidly while keeping file exchange straightforward.
There’s no hard deadline, so quality can take precedence over speed. Consistency, historical accuracy in costume and setting, and a strong sense of narrative pacing are what matter most. Once the first episode’s style is nailed down, we’ll roll that look across future biographies.
Deliverables for each episode:
• Storyboard PDF for approval
• Rough animatic with scratch timing
• Fully colored and composited 2D animation synced to the supplied voice track
• Final video (H.264, 1080p) and project files for archive
If breathing personality into legendary figures like Cleopatra, Tesla, or Mandela through expressive 2D motion sounds exciting, let’s discuss the first storyboard and get started.
