Animated Book Trailers for Fantasy Series

Hey creatives!

I'm an author of a fantasy/paranormal romance series and I'm looking for a skilled digital artist or animator/video editor to help bring my books to life through Instagram Reels-style videos. Think emotionally charged, visually stunning, and totally scroll-stopping.

Here’s what I need:

Scope of Work:

Create short videos (15–60 seconds) inspired by scenes from my novels

Art style can be 2D animation, animated illustrations, or even stylized motion graphics

Can be a mix of character art, mood clips, or dramatic music-backed transitions

I’ll provide: book excerpts, character descriptions, mood references, and optional voiceovers or text overlays

Style Reference:

Something similar to popular BookTok/Bookstagram reels

Bonus if you can emulate a slightly dark, romantic, fantasy vibe.

Deliverables:

1 video to start (15–60 seconds)

If we vibe, potential for long-term collab (I’ve got multiple books and characters)

Requirements:

Must have experience with Instagram Reels/TikTok-style storytelling

Portfolio of similar work is a must

Ability to work with feedback and deliver on time

Please include a rough quote per video (or per 15s/30s/60s format if you charge differently)
