Animated Basketball Instruction Video
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I’m producing a full-length instructional video for my own copyrighted basketball game and want it to look as lively as it is informative. The core audience is intermediate players, yet the pacing and explanations still need to welcome newcomers and hold the attention of seasoned pros.
What I picture is a series of crisp, professionally edited sequences built around colourful, cartoonish gameplay animations. The narrative will prioritise the game’s rules and regulations—every whistle, boundary, and scoring nuance must be demonstrated clearly—while weaving in key techniques and signature moves so viewers immediately see how the rules play out in real action.
Here’s how I’d like to move forward:
• Pre-production: collaborate on a concise script and storyboard so each rule segment flows logically, and so the visual style feels consistently “cartoonish-but-credible.”
• Production: capture or create all gameplay animations, keeping the court markings, player positions, and motion physics accurate to my rules.
• Post-production: add voice-over, on-screen call-outs, slow-motion replays, and smooth transitions so every clip is easy to follow in a single viewing.
Acceptance criteria
1. Final video delivered in 1080p (or higher) H.264 format.
2. All rules explained with matching animated examples and clear audio narration.
3. Visual style stays true to the agreed cartoon aesthetic without sacrificing clarity of movement.
4. The pacing engages viewers from start to finish and is understandable without pausing repeatedly.
My working budget is CAD 250, and I’m setting aside an additional bonus for outstanding execution and on-time delivery. If you have the creative tools and editing chops to bring this game to life, let’s get started.
