Add Minimalist Motion Graphics to Videos
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have six educational videos, each running about five minutes, that need a light layer of 2-D motion graphics. The look I’m after is clean and minimalist—simple animated shapes, icons or basic character art that pop in to illustrate key points, plus text callouts that fade in and out to reinforce what the speaker is saying. No elaborate 3-D elements; think understated, modern flat design that supports the content without stealing the show.
Here’s the flow I envision:
• I provide you with the edited video + locked picture and a rough cue sheet that notes where graphics or titles should appear.
• You create the animations and fading text in After Effects (or a comparable tool) and add them to the video and send it our way so we can take a look, and make adjustments.
• When everything feels polished and perfectly synced, you deliver final 1080p H.264 exports along with the project files.
To gauge fit quickly, please send links to past work that shows minimalist motion graphics and tasteful text reveals. If you’re comfortable matching existing brand colours and fonts, that’s a plus.
