Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I’m launching an original, action-driven webcomic with a proudly LGBTQ+ ensemble cast, told in a crisp manga/anime-inspired style. The series targets adult readers and leans heavily into kinetic fight choreography, so the art must punch hard, move fast, and stay clear.
What I need from you
• Sequential art for a that proves you can handle complex, high-energy combat.
• Consistent character designs and expressive acting that keep every punch, kick, and clash easy to follow.
• Layered PSD or Clip Studio files in high resolution, formatted for both desktop and mobile viewing. Since I’ll be hosting the comic on my own site, panel sizing is flexible as long as it reads smoothly on a phone screen.
Workflow
I’ll supply detailed scripts and reference material. We'll start with one page to get a general feel for workflow and communication, and then we’ll move into ongoing episodes under a separate agreement, refining color or screentone choices as we go.
Acceptance criteria
A complete first chapter delivered on time, showcasing fluid motion, readable paneling, and faithful LGBTQ+ representation will mark the milestone as finished.
If your portfolio already demonstrates dynamic action with a manga-esque style, I’d love to review it and discuss timelines.
There won't be any hard deadlines but I'll check in every week or so to see what progress has been made and if you have any questions or suggestions for me.
