Abstract 2D Music Video: ES
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m ready to turn my finished storyboard into an abstract 2-D animated music video that runs a little under three minutes. The song is locked; what I need now is a visual journey full of color, shape, and rhythm that mirrors the track’s energy rather than literal narrative beats.
You’ll receive a beat-timed storyboard and reference palette on day one. From there, I’d like you to handle design exploration, animation, and compositing, using the tools you’re most comfortable with (After Effects, Toon Boom, TVPaint—whatever lets you push fluid motion and experimental transitions). Synchronicity with the music is crucial, so motion and cuts should feel driven by the track—think kinetic typography, morphing geometry, and unexpected textures that keep the viewer engaged for the entire runtime.
Deliverables:
• Final video (H.264, 1920×1080, 24 fps) ready for YouTube and socials
• All working project files and layered assets so I can re-edit if needed
I’ll be on hand to give quick feedback at each milestone: first design frames, rough animation, polished pass, and final grade. If you thrive on abstract visual storytelling and tight musical timing, let’s create something memorable together.
