Cohousing Explainer Video Production

Job ID: 40292997

Budget: €250 – €750 EUR

I need a compelling short-form video that clearly explains what a cohousing development is, how it sets itself apart from a retirement village or nursing home, and why it embodies “Blue Zone” principles for the third act of life. The final piece must speak in plain, persuasive language that resonates with municipal planning departments and other government officials while still being fully understandable to the wider public.

What I’m looking for
• 3–4 minute narrated video (animation, motion graphics, or a mixed media approach—whichever best illustrates the concepts)
• Concise script that highlights: shared ownership structure, purposeful community design, resident autonomy, and health-promoting features associated with Blue Zone living
• Clear comparison segments contrasting cohousing with traditional retirement villages and nursing homes
• Professional voice-over and on-screen text suitable for a public information setting
• Licensing-safe imagery, icons, or b-roll so it can be shown on council websites and at public hearings
• Final delivery in MP4 (1080p) plus editable project file

Also include funding challenges, and solutions as well as next steps

Acceptance criteria
The video should hold a viewer’s attention for at least three minutes, pass basic accessibility guidelines (legible captions, high-contrast graphics), and be ready for presentation within one month of project start.

If you have experience creating policy-facing explainer videos or have worked on age-friendly housing topics, please share relevant samples when you respond.
