Animation for a story of data history
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I am looking to create a 2D animation (no audio required) that will tell the story of data history for an existing business. This animation will be targeted for a business audience - and explain to existing company employees the journey of data systems evolution over past 30 years to today's technology. I am looking for relatively simple visuals that allow audience to use the visuals as a basic aid to understand the verbal discussion narrating the journey. I have recorded a 1h30min recorded interview between two people speaking English (fast pace, using some industry specific language) .. and will have about 20 different sections where I'll require animation to help visually explain the interview. Each animation will be about 2-5mins long but consist mostly of simple icons/shapes appearing (fade in/out), text labels, and some icons making simple movements on the screen. (eg separate pictures of a 5x database icon moving in a straight line to converge on a common point)
I've done a very basic example of one and attached for your review to get an idea of the type of animation I need. The sample quality of images is low and overall outcome is amateurish but gives a rough idea of what I have in mind. I'm looking for something *just a bit* more polished than this, but no need for full professional grade finish. Timing of this is has not been done right. I just put this together in MS Power Point very quickly to demonstrate the concept, but timing for the finished product needs to match the timing of the discussion in the interview which will add complexity to this project.
This is something well suited to a very experienced story teller who has worked on technology/IT presentations previously. This will require person to listen to the entire 1.5hrs of interview and understand simple technical concepts and history ... and be able to design the animation storyboard themselves. I am happy to provide basic guidance on the story to tweak/adjust here and there, but I'm looking for someone who has done similar things before and can take on the bulk of this effort.
I'd like output to be the 20 different animations both in MP4 finished video format (640x480 quality), AND original animation creation format (whatever that is). OK if you think this is something you'd do in Doodly or Power Point for example.
