PowerBI reporting on Business Central/Dynamics

We are looking to create some dasboards in Power BI that use Business Central/Dynamics as a data source.
We have BI expertise but will need ongoing development/support/advice with the project around BC/Dynamics tables and modelling, initially on the Ledger and Budget.
Please only apply if you have good best practice on the use of BI Reporting on Business Central/Dynamics data.
There will be some short interview questions for potential candidates as we have been let down by a developer already.
