My mother passed on 02/16/2022
Before she died she verbally told me I was to be executor to her final business and personal affairs .
But this has been interfered with and her power of attorney has taken it upon himself to continue to conduct business on her behalf even though his rights ended when she died .
I simply want access to my mothers belongings and vital documents as these need to remain within our family and not the live in boyfriends possession .
Without proof of administrator papers I cannot legally get my mothers belongings.
I wish to have administration without a will papers prepared so I may file with Clark County court as soon as death certificate arrives in mail .
I also wish to have any other advice anyone has out there to resolve being denied access by this man .
They were not married and he’s not a court recognized domestic partner, but they did live together and his name is on the lease .
I just want my moms documents, pictures , personal belongings and have the right to review her bank statements for executor purposes and close out accounts and notify of her passing legally .
