Data Engineer/Analyst for B2B SaaS company (ongoing)
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
Looking for someone to join us on a part-time basis as a Data Engineer/Analyst.
You will own our data stack and have responsibility for optimization, creating new views, queries, dashboards and traits, connecting up all the tools that plumb data around the company and responding to requests from the team for integrations, data points or automation that rely on data.
At the same time, you will also be a part-time analyst/data scientist. You should be very comfortable taking a question or request from the business and performing the analysis using data to produce a short doc with your findings and recommendations. To do this, you need a good understanding of UX, product management, and customer experience. We want actionable insights based on the data to help us make decisions.
Our data stack today includes Segment, Redshift, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Chartio (soon to migrate), DBT, Census and Integromat to plug-in the gaps.
You will be asked to answer the following questions when submitting a proposal:
1. Please tell us more about your background and work experience

3. How many hours per week would you be available?
4. Give some examples on the type of business questions / requests you have dealt with before in terms of data analysis?
