Need a telemetry box with accelerometer and PIR sensor and 4G usb modem push data to host server
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
We require the services of a capable qualified engineer who CAN DEMONSTRATE EXPERIENCE or have a prortype we can use immediately and re-code firmware and build a board with accelerometer, PIR sensor, backup battery and 4G usb &/oror PCI Express modem and / or wifi board.
The device needs to detect:
- PIR when something is within the vicinity and support adjusting sensitivity and distance maximum 30 cms) and log it in a local media file and push to server when buffer is filling up
- Accelerometer needs to be capable of adjusting sensitivity and logging timestamped movements and count number of movements and log it to a local media file and push with PIR data to server via 4G when buffer is filling up
- Structure log file to log both PIR and Accelerometer data with structured command prefix
- Structure log file to log battery levels and 4G signal levels
- Structure log file to log 4G signal and connection or no connection to network
- Structure firmware to go to sleep and turn on when motion or PIR detects object
We need the design to be minimalistic, low battery use when not used almost no power and able to be built and tested within 4-5 weeks of project allocation.
NOTE: If you cannot dedicate the time, please do not apply this is an urgent prototype we need done by someone with experience and or prototype that we can use and customsie
The design needs to also support adding WiFi sharing and / or Lora Wan where 4G in some devices can reach up to 5 other devices over LoraWAN or similar
Initially we need someone to build a proof of concept in a case (or we can provide) in a small form factor of 10x10cm by 3cms high or smaller. We cn have PCB manufactured relatively quickly and we will assist, pay and arrange this while you code firmware.
For this need PCB schematic in eagle or similar for PCB to be printed and BOM to populate it
Successful candidate will have opportunity to build and develop the commercial design and on-going contract work.
Device can be arduino based, embedded controller, use demo kits by chip providers but prefer someone who has done this before as need in 5 weeks working demo so we can code back end for proof of concept to client.

Prototype will include up to 5 devices transmitting over SSH or FTP asap
